Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 So woe to the worshippers 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
