The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 So fear Allah and obey me' 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
