Lo! God said: "O Jesus! Verily, I shall cause thee to die, and shall exalt thee unto Me, and cleanse thee of [the presence of] those who are bent on denying the truth; and I shall place those who follow thee [far] above those who are bent on denying the truth, unto the Day of Resurrection. In the end, unto Me you all must return, and I shall judge between you with regard to all on which you were wont to differ. 55 As for those who disbelieved, I shall punish them with a terrible chastisement in this world and in the Next; and they shall find none to help them. 56 And as to those who believe and do good deeds, He will pay them fully their rewards; and Allah does not love the unjust. 57 This We recite to thee of signs and wise remembrance. 58 Verily, the likeness of 'Iesa (Jesus) before Allah is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: "Be!" - and he was. 59 (Muhammad, the essence of) the Truth is from your Lord. Never have any doubt about it. 60 If anyone disputes (your prophesy) after knowledge has come to you, say, "Let each of us bring our children, women, our people, and ourselves to one place and pray to God to condemn the liars among us." 61 Most surely this is the true explanation, and there is no god but Allah; and most surely Allah-- He is the Mighty, the Wise. 62 And if they turn away (and do not accept these true proofs and evidences), then surely, Allah is All-Aware of those who do mischief. 63
