Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 No indeed; (the fact is that) you deny the Reckoning, declaring it a lie; 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 noble, writers 11 who know of all that you do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 But the wicked, indeed they shall be in the Fiery Furnace, 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 to burn therein. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
