Al-Imraan 11 of 20
O Ye who believe! fear Allah with fear due to Him, and die not except ye be Muslims. 102 And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you - when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided. 103 Let there be one nation of you, calling to good, and bidding to honour, and forbidding dishonour; those are the prosperers. 104 Be not as those who scattered and fell into variance after the clear signs came to them; those there awaits a mighty chastisement, 105 On the Day when some faces are bright and some faces are dark, it will be said to those with darkened faces, "Did you reject faith after accepting it? Taste, then, this punishment for having denied the truth!" 106 But those whose faces will be (lit with) white,- they will be in (the light of) Allah's mercy: therein to dwell (for ever). 107 Such are the verses of Allah, We recite them to you with truth. Allah does not want injustice for the worlds. 108 His is all that the heavens and the earth contain. To God shall all things return. 109

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
