And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
