The warnings came also to Pharaoh's folk. 41 They belied Our signs everyone thereof; whereof We laid hold of them with the grip of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say: We are a host allied together to help each other? 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 Rather, the Hour is their encounter. And that Hour will be most calamitous and bitter. 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 On the Day whereon they shall be dragged into the Fire upon their faces, it shall be said unto them: taste the touch of the Scorching. 48 Indeed, all things We created with predestination. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 And indeed, We have destroyed your likes, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? 51 All things they do are (recorded) in the books; 52 and everything [that man does,] be it small or great, is recorded [with God]. 53 Surely those who shun disobedience will dwell amidst Gardens and running streams 54 At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful. 55
