The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By heaven of the constellations, 1 And the promised day, 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 (Self-)destroyed were the owners of the ditch 4 the makers of the fuel-stoked fire! 5 When they sat by it, 6 And they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers. 7 And they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in Allah, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise!- 8 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment. 11 Indeed, the seizing of your Lord is severe. 12 He it is Who creates for the first time and He it is Who will create again, 13 He is the forgiving and the loving, 14 Master of the Honourable Throne. 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Did the story of the armies reach you? 17 [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 In fact it (what they deny) is the Noble Qur’an. 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
