The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
