Lo! those who ward off (evil) are among gardens and watersprings. 45 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." 48 ۞ Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. 49 And that My Torment is indeed the most painful torment. 50 And tell them about Abraham's guests. 51 When they came to him and said: "Peace," he answered: "Truly we are afraid of you." 52 They (the angels) said: "Do not be afraid! We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom." 53 He said, “Do you convey to me the glad tidings upon old age reaching me? So upon what do you convey glad tidings?” (* Prophet Ibrahim said this out of surprise.) 54 give me good tidings?' They said, 'We give thee good tidings of truth. Be not of those that despair.' 55 "Who would despair of the mercy of his Lord," he answered, "but those who go astray." 56 He said, “And what is your next task, O the sent angels?” 57 "We have been sent," they said, "to (punish) a sinful people, 58 excepting the household of Lot. We shall deliver all of them, 59 except his wife. We have decreed that she will be among those who remain behind [and will be lost]. 60
