O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and wives of the believers that they should draw over themselves some of their outer garments [when in public], so as to be recognized and not harmed. God is most forgiving and most merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and those who have tainted hearts and the scandal mongers of Madinah do not desist, We shall surely give you authority over them and their days in that city will be numbered. 60 Accursed, they will be seized wherever found and slain with a (fierce) slaughter. 61 Such has been the way of Allah with those who have passed before them, and you shall find no change in the ways of Allah. 62 People ask you concerning the Hour (of Resurrection). Say: “Allah alone has knowledge of it. What do you know? Perhaps the Hour is nigh.” 63 Verily, Allah has cursed the disbelievers, and has prepared for them a flaming Fire (Hell). 64 They will live in it for ever, and will find no saviour or helper. 65 On the Day when their faces shall be tossed about in the fire, they will exclaim, "Oh, would that we had paid heed unto God, and paid heed unto the Apostle!" 66 And they would say: "Our Lord! We obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us as to the (right) Path. 67 Our Lord, give them double punishment and curse them with a mighty curse." 68
