Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
So I do call to witness what ye see, 38 and by that you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 Nor is it the speech of a sooth-sayer. Little are ye admonished. 42 (It is) a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have definitely taken revenge from him. 45 then, We would surely have cut from him the aorta (vein) 46 and not one of you would have been able to withhold Us from doing so. 47 But verily this is a Message for the Allah-fearing. 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 and surely it will be a cause of regret for the unbelievers. 50 This is the Truth beyond any doubt. 51 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), proclaim the purity of your Lord, the Greatest. 52
