The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
