And We did certainly send Moses with Our signs and a clear authority 96 Towards Firaun and his court members, thereupon they followed the commands of Firaun; and the work of Firaun was not proper. 97 He shall lead his people on the resurrection day, and bring them down to the fire; and evil the place to which they are brought. 98 They were pursued by a curse in this (deceiving life of this world) and (so they will be pursued by a curse) on the Day of Resurrection. How bad is the curse (in this world) pursued by another curse (in the Hereafter). 99 These are some of the news of the (population of) towns which We relate unto you (O Muhammad SAW); of them, some are standing, and some have been (already) reaped. 100 We did not wrong them; it is rather they who wronged themselves. And when the command of your Lord came to pass, the gods besides Allah whom they had called upon, did not avail them in the least. They added nothing to them except ruin. 101 Such is the punishment of your Lord when He seizes the towns in the midst of their sins: His punishing grip is terrible and severe. 102 Indeed, for he who fears the punishment of the Everlasting Life that is a sign. That is a Day on which everyone shall be assembled. That shall be a witnessed Day. 103 And We do not delay it except for a limited term. 104 and when that Day arrives, no soul shall speak but by His leave. Among those some shall be damned, and others shall be blessed. 105 As for those who were [destined to be] wretched, they will be in the Fire. For them therein is [violent] exhaling and inhaling. 106 [They will be] abiding therein as long as the heavens and the earth endure, except what your Lord should will. Indeed, your Lord is an effecter of what He intends. 107 ۞ And those who are blessed shall be in the Garden: They will dwell therein for all the time that the heavens and the earth endure, except as thy Lord willeth: a gift without break. 108 Therefore do not be doubtful as to what these worship. They worship only that which their fathers worshiped before them. We shall indeed pay them in full their undiminished measure. 109
