Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 To clear or to warn. 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 For a known calculated term. 22 See that We had the power to do so. Great indeed is Our power to do what We will. 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 Of the living and the dead? 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
