The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
