Did you not see that Allah has given in your control all that is in the earth – and the ship that moves upon the sea by His command? And He restricts the heavens that it may not fall on to the earth except by His command; indeed Allah is Most Compassionate, Most Merciful upon mankind. 65 It is He who has given you life, He will make you die and will make you live again. Surely the human being is ungrateful. 66 For every religion We have appointed rites which they perform. So, [O Muhammad], let the disbelievers not contend with you over the matter but invite them to your Lord. Indeed, you are upon straight guidance. 67 If they do wrangle with thee, say, "Allah knows best what it is ye are doing." 68 Allah will judge between you on the day of resurrection respecting that in which you differ. 69 Do you not know that Allah knows what is in the heaven and the earth? Surely this is in a book; surely this is easy to Allah. 70 They worship things instead of God that have received no authority (from the heavens) nor have they any knowledge of such authority. The unjust people will have no one to help them. 71 When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, thou wilt notice a denial on the faces of the Unbelievers! they nearly attack with violence those who rehearse Our Signs to them. Say, "Shall I tell you of something (far) worse than these Signs? It is the Fire (of Hell)! Allah has promised it to the Unbelievers! and evil is that destination!" 72
