Blessed is He who placed in the heavens constellations of stars, and placed a burning lamp in it and the luminous moon. 61 And He it is Who has put the night and the day in succession, for such who desires to remember or desires to show his gratitude. 62 Devotees of Ar-Rahman are those who walk with humility on the earth, and when they are addressed by the ignorant, say: 'Peace;" 63 who pass the night prostrate to their Lord and standing; 64 who pray, "Lord, protect us from the torment of hell; it is a great loss. 65 It is a terrible abode and an evil station," 66 And those who when they expend, are neither extravagant nor sparing, and it is a medium in-between. 67 And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty. 68 The punishment shall be increased for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will remain in it forever, with humiliation. 69 Unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds, for Allah will change the evil of such persons into good, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful, 70 Whosoever repents and does the right, will have turned back to God by way of repentance; 71 Those who witness no falsehood, and, if they pass by futility, they pass by it with honourable (avoidance); 72 and who, whenever they are reminded of their Sustainer's messages, do not throw themselves upon them [as if] deaf and blind; 73 Those who say: 'Lord give us of our wives and children what pleases our eyes and make us leaders to the fearful' 74 Those are the ones who will be rewarded with the highest place in heaven, because of their patient constancy: therein shall they be met with salutations and peace, 75 Therein they shall dwell forever; fair it is as a lodging-place and an abode. 76 Say, "What would my Lord care for you, if you do not call on Him. Because you have indeed rejected the truth and His punishment is bound to overtake you. 77
