The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said: I have no knowledge of that which they have been Working. 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
