۞ Allah is the one who created you from weakness, then made after weakness strength, then made after strength weakness and white hair. He creates what He wills, and He is the Knowing, the Competent. 54 And at the time when the hour shall come, the guilty shall swear (that) they did not tarry but an hour; thus are they ever turned away. 55 But those who have been given knowledge and faith shall say, 'You have tarried in God's Book till the Day of the Upraising, This is the Day of the Upraising, but you did not know.' 56 And so, on that Day their excuse will be of no avail to those who were bent on evildoing, nor will they be allowed to make amends. 57 In the Qur'an We have explained things to people in myriad ways. But no matter what Sign you bring to them, those who are resolved upon denying the Truth will say: “You are given to falsehood.” 58 In this way God seals the hearts of those who do not [want to] know [the truth], 59 So have thou patience; verily the promise of Allah is true. And let not make thee impatient those who have no conviction. 60
