▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for him who fears to stand before his Lord are two gardens. 46 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 47 Of spreading branches. 48 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 49 Therein are two running fountains. 50 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 51 In both of them, there will be two kinds of every fruit. 52 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 53 [They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low. 54 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 55 therein maidens restraining their glances, untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 56 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 57 As though they are jacinth and coral. 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 59 The reward of goodness shall be nothing but goodness. 60 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 61 And besides these two are two (other) gardens: 62 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 63 Both inclining to blackness. 64 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 65 In them (both) will be two springs gushing forth water. 66 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 67 In them are fruits (of all kinds), and dates and pomegranate. 68 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 69 In these [gardens] will be [all] things most excellent and beautiful. 70 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 71 Pure ones confined to the pavilions. 72 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 73 Undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, -- 74 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 75 Reclining on green Cushions and rich Carpets of beauty. 76 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 77 Blessed be the Name of your Lord (Allah), the Owner of Majesty and Honour. 78
True are the words of God the Almighty.
