Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 And when the apostles are collected at the appointed time, 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 To the day of decision. 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times? 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you of a mean water, 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 for an appointed term? 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 The living and the dead, 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 that will offer no [cooling] shade and will be of no avail against the flame 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 To end all argument or to warn. 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 And permission shall not be given to them so that they should offer excuses. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
