Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 When the graves are overturned, 4 Each soul shall know that which it sent afore and that which it left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 who has created thee, and formed thee in accordance with what thou art meant' to be, and shaped thy nature in just proportions, 7 and set you in whatever form He pleased? 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 watching over you 11 who know whatever you do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 and the libertines shall be in a fiery furnace 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
