The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The (unprecedented) crash! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 his head will be in the Plunging 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
