Al-Naml 6 of 7
Those who do not believe, say: "When we and our fathers have turned to dust, how shall we be raised again? 67 Indeed we and our fathers had been promised this before. It is nothing but the earlier people's lore." 68 Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals." 69 And grieve thou not over them nor be straitened because of that which they plot. 70 And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?" 71 Say: Maybe there may have drawn near to you somewhat of that which you seek to hasten on. 72 Surely, your Lord is bountiful to the people; yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 Surely thy Lord knows what their hearts conceal, and what they publish. 74 There is not a thing hidden in the heaven and earth except that it is in a Clear Book. 75 Verily, this Quran narrates to the Children of Israel most of that about which they differ. 76 it is a guidance, and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Indeed, your Lord will judge between them by His [wise] judgement. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Knowing. 78 So put thy trust in Allah: for thou art on (the path of) manifest Truth. 79 Indeed the dead* do not listen to your call nor do the deaf* listen to your call, when they flee turning back. (The dead and deaf implies the disbelievers.) 80 You cannot guide the straying blind ones. You can only make hear those who believe in Our revelations submissively. 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
