But [let them always remember that] if We lengthen a human being's days, We also cause him to decline in his powers [when he grows old]: will they not, then, use their reason? 68 And We have not taught him poetry, nor is it meet for him; it is nothing but a reminder and a plain Quran, 69 by which he may warn those who are living and may let the words of God come true against the unbelievers. 70 Have they not seen how that We have created for them of that Our hands wrought cattle that they own? 71 And We have subjected them to them, so some of them they have to ride upon, and some of them they eat. 72 And they have therefrom other benefits and drinks. Will they not then give thanks? 73 Yet they take (for worship) gods other than Allah, (hoping) that they might be helped! 74 Those deities can render them no help. Yet these devotees act as though they were an army in waiting for them. 75 Therefore let not their speech grieve you; surely We know what they do in secret and what they do openly. 76 IS MAN, then, not aware that it is We who create him out of a [mere] drop of sperm - whereupon, lo! he shows himself endowed with the power to think and to argue? 77 And he hath coined for Us a similitude, and hath forgotten the fact of his creation, saying: Who will revive these bones when they have rotted away? 78 Say: "He who created you the first time. He has knowledge of every creation, 79 “The One Who has created for you fire from the green tree, so you kindle from it.” 80 Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of them? Yea! and He is the Creator (of all), the Knower. 81 His Being alone is such that when He wills a thing to be, He but says unto it, "Be" — and it is. 82 Limitless, then, in His glory is He in whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things; and unto Him you all will be brought back! 83
