And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein 16 When the two receivers receive, sitting on the right and on the left. 17 He uttereth no word but there is with him an observer ready. 18 And the stupor of death will bring Truth (before his eyes): "This was the thing which thou wast trying to escape!" 19 And the Horn will be blown. That is the Day of [carrying out] the threat. 20 And every soul shall come, and with it a driver and a witness. 21 [It will be said], "You were certainly in unmindfulness of this, and We have removed from you your cover, so your sight, this Day, is sharp." 22 And his comrade shall say, 'This is what I have, made ready.' 23 It will be said to the angels, “Both of you fling every excessive ungrateful, stubborn person into hell.” 24 Forbidder of good, exceeder of limits, doubter, 25 who has set up another god besides God: cast him into severe punishment" -- 26 ۞ His companion said: “I did not incite him to rebel; he was far gone into error of his own accord.” 27 He (Allah) will say: 'Do not dispute before Me. I sent you a warning beforehand. 28 There is no changing of My word, nor am I unjust to My creatures." 29
