Say, [O Muhammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone." 20 Say: I do not control for you evil or good. 21 Say, "Surely no one can protect me against God, nor can I find besides Him any place of refuge. 22 Mine is but the publishing from Allah and His messages; and whosoever disobeyeth Allah and His apostle, his portion verily is the Hell-Fire as abiders therein for evermore. 23 When they are confronted by what they have been promised, they will realize who is weaker in helpers and fewer in numbers. 24 Say: 'I do not know whether that which you are promised is near, or whether my Lord will set for it a time. 25 He is the knower of the Unknown, and He does not divulge His secret to any one 26 save only to such a Messenger as He is well-pleased with; then He despatches before him and behind him watchers, 27 So that He may know if they have delivered their Lord's messages. He comprehends all that has been given them, and keeps count of everything. 28
