And the dwellers of the Rock certainly rejected the apostles; 80 And We gave them Our Signs, but they were averse to them. 81 They were hewing the mountains into houses, therein dwelling securely; 82 But the (Awful) Cry overtook them at the morning hour, 83 And all that which they used to earn availed them not. 84 We did not create the heavens and the earth, and what is between them except in truth. The Hour is sure to come, therefore, forgive them with a gracious pardon. 85 verily, thy Sustainer is the all-knowing Creator of all things! 86 And indeed We have given you seven verses that are repeated, and the great Qur’an. 87 So covet not things We have bestowed on a portion of them to enjoy, and do not grieve for them, and protect those who believe; 88 And say: Surely I am the plain warner. 89 So We sent it down to the partitioners, 90 Those who have made the scripture bits. 91 So, by your Lord, We would most certainly question them all, 92 concerning what they have been doing. 93 Proclaim openly what you are commanded, and avoid the polytheists. 94 Surely We will suffice you against the scoffers 95 and believe other things to be equal to God. They will soon know the truth. 96 We certainly know that you feel sad about what they say against you. 97 Therefore celebrate the praise of your Lord, and be of those who make obeisance. 98 And worship your Lord until there comes unto you the certainty (i.e. death). 99
