The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ The believers must (eventually) win through,- 1 those who humble themselves in their prayer, 2 And who do not incline towards indecent matters. 3 Who are active in deeds of charity; 4 and guard their private parts 5 Except before their mates or those whom their right hands possess, for they surely are not blameable, 6 Those who desire to go beyond such limits they commit transgression, 7 (Prosperous are those) who preserve their trusts and pledges 8 And who guard their prayers. 9 these are the heirs 10 who shall inherit Paradise therein dwelling forever. 11 And assuredly We created man of an extract of clay. 12 Then made him a drop of fluid in a secure shelter. 13 then We made this drop into a clot, then We made the clot into a lump, then We made the lump into bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We caused it to grow into another creation. Thus Most Blessed is Allah, the Best of all those that create. 14 Thereafter you will certainly die 15 Then you will all be raised on the Day of Resurrection. 16 And indeed, We have created above you seven [celestial] orbits: and never are We unmindful of [any aspect of Our] creation. 17 And We send down water from the sky according to (due) measure, and We cause it to soak in the soil; and We certainly are able to drain it off (with ease). 18 With it We grow for you gardens of date-palms and vines: in them have ye abundant fruits: and of them ye eat (and have enjoyment),- 19 also a tree growing on Mount Sinai which produces oil and a condiment for those who eat it. 20 And lo! in the cattle there is verily a lesson for you. We give you to drink of that which is in their bellies, and many uses have ye in them, and of them do ye eat; 21 and you ride on them as you do in ships. 22
