And they ask thee regarding the mountains; so say thou: my Lord will scatter them with a total scattering. 105 And turn them into a level plain, 106 with neither hollows nor upthrust mounds to be seen. 107 That Day, everyone will follow [the call of] the Caller [with] no deviation therefrom, and [all] voices will be stilled before the Most Merciful, so you will not hear except a whisper [of footsteps]. 108 On that day no one’s intercession shall benefit except his to whom the Most Gracious has given permission and whose word He has liked. (The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 109 He knows all that is before them and all that is behind them, whereas their knowledge cannot encompass it. 110 ۞ All heads will be bowed before the Living, the Eternal; and whosoever bears a load of iniquity will be full of despair. 111 And whosoever worketh of the righteous works, and is a believer, he will not fear wrong or begrudging 112 AND THUS have We bestowed from on high this [divine writ] as a discourse in the Arabic tongue, and have given therein many facets to all manner of warnings, so that men might remain conscious of Us, or that it give rise to a new awareness in them 113 So high exalted be God, the true King! And hasten not with the Koran ere its revelation is accomplished unto thee; and say, 'O my Lord, increase me in knowledge.' 114 And certainly We gave a commandment to Adam before, but he forgot; and We did not find in him any determination. 115
