Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 For the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false]! 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 Till an appointed term, 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Did We not make the earth as a gathering place 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." 31 which - behold! - will throw up sparks like [burning] logs, 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
