Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 you do so the while there are watchers over you; 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 who know what you do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 But the wicked, indeed they shall be in the Fiery Furnace, 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
