And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
