We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 And all things We have created by pairs, that haply ye may reflect. 49 (Muhammad), tell them,"Seek refuge in God. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you. 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 Likewise, there came not an apostle unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed. 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 The evildoers shall have their portion, like the portion of their fellows; so let them not hasten Me! 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60
