Therefore, remind and preach (mankind, O Muhammad SAW of Islamic Monotheism). By the Grace of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor a madman. 29 Or do they say: 'He is a poet, we are waiting for some misfortune to befall him' 30 Say, "Wait, for indeed I am, with you, among the waiters." 31 Do their minds prompt them to say such things, or are they a people immersed in transgression?” 32 Or do they say: "He himself has composed this [message]"? Nay, but they are not willing to believe! 33 Let them produce a scripture like it, if what they say is true. 34 [Or do they deny the existence of God?] Have they themselves been created without anything [that might have caused their creation]? or were they, perchance, their own creators? 35 Or, did they create the heavens and the earth? No, their belief is not certain! 36 Or do they have your Lord's treasures in their keeping? Or have absolute authority over them? 37 Or do they have a ladder (climbing which) they can hear (the secrets of heaven)? Let one who has heard then bring a clear proof. 38 Or has He daughters while you have sons? 39 Or is it that [they who reject thy message, O Muhammad, fear lest] thou ask of them a reward, so that they would be burdened with debt [if they should listen to thee]? 40 Or do they have knowledge of the Unknown which they write down? 41 Do they want to hatch some plot? Those who deny the truth will be the victims of the plot. 42 Or, do they have a god, other than Allah? Exaltations to Allah above that which they associate! 43 And if they were to see a piece of the heaven falling down, they would say: "Clouds gathered in heaps!" 44 Then leave them, till they encounter their day wherein they shall be thunderstruck, 45 the day when their guile shall avail them naught, and they shall not be helped. 46 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a punishment before that, but most of them do not know. 47 And be patient, [O Muhammad], for the decision of your Lord, for indeed, you are in Our eyes. And exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord when you arise. 48 And in the night-time also hymn His praise, and at the setting of the stars. 49
