The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the morning hours 1 and the brooding night! 2 Thy Sustainer has not forsaken thee, nor does He scorn thee: 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
