The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The Clatterer! 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 Will have a tranquil life; 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 A burning fire. 11
