Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 and does not urge others to feed the needy. 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 and prevent the utensils of assistance. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
