۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he (the dying person) be of the Muqarrabun (those brought near to Allah), 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
