The Sun (Al-Shams)
15 verses, revealed in Mecca after Destiny (Al-Qadr) before The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
I swear by the sun and its brilliance, 1 by the moon, which follows it, 2 Consider the day as it reveals the world, 3 And [by] the night when it covers it 4 And by oath of the heaven and by oath of Him Who made it. 5 And by oath of the earth and by oath of Him Who spread it. 6 The soul and how it was integrated 7 And its enlightenment as to its wrong and its right;- 8 those who purify their souls will certainly have everlasting happiness 9 And indeed he fails who corrupts his ownself (i.e. disobeys what Allah has ordered by rejecting the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism or by following polytheism, etc. or by doing every kind of evil wicked deeds). 10 Thamood cried lies in their insolence 11 When the most wicked among them stood up in defiance. 12 Then the messenger of God said to them, "This is God's she-camel. Let her drink." 13 But they cried him lies, and hamstrung her, so their Lord crushed them for their sin, and leveled them: 14 for none [of them] had any fear of what might befall them. 15
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
