Have you not seen that your Lord increases the shadow. Had He wanted He would have made it stationary], and has made the sun their guide. 45 then We withdrew it to Us, a gradual withdrawal. 46 And it is He who hath made for you the night a covering, and the sleep repose, and hath made the day a resurrection. 47 It is He who loosens the winds, bearing glad tidings before the Hands of His Mercy, and We have sent down pure water from the heaven, 48 That with it We may give life to a dead land, and slake the thirst of things We have created,- cattle and men in great numbers. 49 And We distribute it among them in various ways that they may ponder and reflect; yet most men disdain everything but denial and thanklessness. 50 And had We willed, We would have raised a warner in every town. 51 So do not listen to unbelievers, and strive against them with greater effort. 52 ۞ AND HE it is who has given freedom of movement to the two great bodies of water - the one sweet and thirst-allaying, and the other salty and bitter - and yet has wrought between them a barrier and a forbidding ban. 53 And He it is Who hath created man from water, and hath appointed for him kindred by blood and kindred by marriage; for thy Lord is ever Powerful. 54 And they (disbelievers, polytheists, etc.) worship besides Allah, that which can neither profit them nor harm them, and the disbeliever is ever a helper (of the Satan) against his Lord. 55 And We have sent thee (O Muhammad) only as a bearer of good tidings and a warner. 56 Say, "I do not ask of you for it any payment - only that whoever wills might take to his Lord a way." 57 Have trust in God the Living, who will never die, and sing His hallelujas; for He is well aware of the sins of His creatures. 58 He who created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days and then established Himself above the Throne - the Most Merciful, so ask about Him one well informed. 59 And when it is said to them: Prostrate to the Beneficent Allah, they say: And what is the Allah of beneficence? Shall we prostrate to what you bid us? And it adds to their aversion. ۩ 60
