And indeed this Qur’an has been sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 192 The Trusted Spirit hath brought it down. 193 Upon your heart that you may be of the warners 194 In eloquent Arabic. 195 And verily it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is it not evidence enough for them that [so many] learned men from among the children of Israel have recognized this [as true]? 197 (But such is their adamance) that had We revealed it to one of the non-Arabs and even if he had recited (this clear Arabic discourse) to them 198 And he had recited it to them [perfectly], they would [still] not have been believers in it. 199 Thus do We cause (unbelief) to enter the hearts of sinners. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. 201 So it will come upon them suddenly, whilst they will be unaware. 202 Then will they say: "Can we be given respite?" 203 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 204 Then have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years 205 then there comes on them that they were promised, 206 of what avail will be the provisions of life which they have been granted to enjoy? 207 And We did not destroy any town but it had (its) warners, 208 for a reminder, and We never harmed. 209 The devils did not bring it down. 210 it is not for them, nor are they able. 211 Most surely they are far removed from the hearing of it. 212 (Muhammad), do not worship anything besides God lest you suffer the punishment. 213 And warn thy tribe of near kindred, 214 and extend kindness and affection to those of the believers who follow you. 215 Then if they disobey you, say: "I am innocent of what you do." 216 And put your trust in the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful, 217 Who seeth thee standing forth (in prayer), 218 And watches your movements among those who prostrate in prayer. 219 Surely, He is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the Satans come down? 221 They descend on every sinful, false one. 222 Who give ear, and most of them are liars. 223 Poets are followed by the perverse. 224 Have you not seen how they wander in every valley, 225 And that they say that which they do not do, 226 except those who believed and acted righteously and remembered Allah much, and when they themselves were subjected to wrong, they exacted retribution no more than to the extent of the wrong? Soon will the wrong-doers know the end that they shall reach. 227
