Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
We have set in heaven constellations and decked them out fair to the beholders, 16 And We have guarded it (near heaven) from every outcast Shaitan (devil). 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. 19 We have provided on it sustenance for you, and for those you cannot provide. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. 22 It is indeed We Who grant life and cause death and it is We who shall be the sole Inheritors of all. 23 And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards. 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
