And indeed the Noble Messengers came to the people of Firaun. 41 They rejected each one of Our signs. So We seized them with the grip of one mighty and powerful. 42 Are your Unbelievers, (O Quraish), better than they? Or have ye an immunity in the Sacred Books? 43 Or do they say: "We are a well-accoutred army?" 44 Their multitude will be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 The sinful ones will face the destructive torment of hell 47 On the Day whereon they shall be dragged into the Fire upon their faces, it shall be said unto them: taste the touch of the Scorching. 48 Verily everything! We have created it by a measure. 49 And Our Commandment is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And indeed, We have destroyed your likes, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? 51 All things they do are (recorded) in the books; 52 And everything, small and great, hath been written down. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
