The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
