3/4 Hizb 45

And indeed, [it was for this reason that] Noah cried unto Us - and how excellent was Our response: 75 for We saved him and his household from that awesome calamity, 76 and We made his offspring the survivors. 77 We left mention of him among later generations. 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the peoples! 79 This is how We reward the virtuous. 80 he was truly one of Our faithful servants. 81 Then We did drown the others. 82 ۞ And, verily, among those who followed his [Nuh's (Noah)] way (Islamic Monotheism) was Ibrahim (Abraham). 83 When he came to his Lord with a heart compliant, 84 When he said to his father (paternal uncle) and his people, “What do you worship?” 85 It is falsehood that you desire gods other than Allah! 86 "Then what do you think about the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists)?" 87 Then he cast a glance at the stars (to deceive them), 88 And said, "I am sick," 89 So they turned away from him, and departed (for fear of the disease). 90 and he turned to their idols and asked them, "Do you eat? 91 "What is the matter with you that ye speak not (intelligently)?" 92 Then did he turn upon them, striking (them) with the right hand. 93 [But] then the others came towards him hurriedly [and accused him of his deed]. 94 but he said, "How can you worship things you carve with your own hands, 95 Whereas Allah hath created you and that which ye make? 96 They said: Build for him a furnace, then cast him into the burning fire. 97 And they desired a war against him, but We brought them low. 98 He said: 'I will go to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord! grant me of the doers of good deeds. 100 So We gave him tidings of a gentle son. 101 When he was old enough to go about with him, he said: "O my son, I dreamt that I was sacrificing you. Consider, what you think?" He replied: "Father, do as you are commanded. If God pleases you will find me firm." 102 When they had surrendered, and he flung him upon his brow, 103 We called to him, saying: 'O Abraham, 104 you have fulfilled the dream." It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good, 105 Lo! that verily was a clear test. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 and left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 108 Peace be unto Ibrahim: 109 Verily We! thus We compense the well-doers. 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 So We gave him the good news of Isaac, apostle, who is among the righteous. 112 and blessed him and Isaac too: some of their offspring were good, but some clearly sinned against their souls. 113
