The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 will have hawiyah as their dwelling. 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
