The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 It is the Fire kindled by Allah, 6 to penetrate into the hearts. 7 Verily, it shall be closed in on them, 8 in outstretched columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
