Surely warners came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 but they belied all Our signs so We seized them with the seizing of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Do they say, "We shall be victorious because we are united?" 44 Most certainly their gatherings shall be routed, and they will turn their backs. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 The Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell!" 48 We have created everything in a determined measure. 49 Our command consists of only one Word which is carried out in the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 All their deeds are in the Scrolls, 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 Surely those who shun disobedience will dwell amidst Gardens and running streams 54 in a seat of truth, in the presence of a Sovereign who determines all things. 55
